Which University is right for you?

Ever since the University of Oxford was established in 1096* as the first university in the English speaking world in, British Universities have gone on to develop an international reputation for providing students with some of the best quality education available. Today, there are now over 160 universities in the UK offering a broad range of courses. However, given the vast array of options on offer, deciding which university is right for you can be a difficult decision.

An education with history and heritage

Students hoping to study at a truly elite institution should look no further than the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge. Given that Oxford and Cambridge are often considered the world’s most celebrated universities, it is no surprise former students have gone on to achieve positions of great power. Although the U.K’s most elite Universities offer some of the best teaching available, in order to become a student at such prestigious institutions, applicants must meet the stringent entry requirements. While the high entry requirements may put some people off applying at a British University, there are many other excellent universities which offer top quality education with slightly more lenient grade boundaries.
