Northampton

Northampton is a large market town, about 67 miles north-west of London and 50 miles south-east of Birmingham, and is the birthplace of the British shoe industry. Just outside the town is Silverstone, the home of the British Grand Prix, and Althorp House, a stately home of the Spencer family (and family home of Diana, Princess of Wales).
Fun fact: Northampton is home to the biggest market square in England which was established in 1189.
